Corona lockdown 3.0 live updates:  After issuing new guidelines regarding lockdown 3.0 on Friday, the Union Home Ministry sources clarified on Saturday the liquor shops will be allowed to open orange and green zones, while the ones in the red zones will only be permitted to open if they are standalone or neighborhood shops. The total COVID-19 cases in India jumped stand at 37,336 as of the date.

Covid-19 is the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, which originated from China's Wuhan. In February, the World Health Organisation (WHO) named the novel coronavirus "Covid-19". "Co" stands for "corona", "vi" for "virus" and "d" for "disease", while "19" was for the year, as the outbreak was first identified on December 31. According to the WHO, "there are different procedures, and purposes, for naming viruses and diseases. "Viruses are named based on their genetic structure to facilitate the development of diagnostic tests, vaccines, and medicines."
